Counter Displays for Tradeshows, Expos, and Storefronts

Trade show counter displays are a staple of any booth. Each of these displays was designed with several key features in mind. They're portable, making them easier to travel with. They're able to hold quite a bit of weight for extended periods of time. Finally, each counter display boasts a set of high quality dye-sublimated fabric graphics. Each style is unique, and some even offer the ability to be internally lit. There are also custom features such as an interior counter that may be useful for the storage of important items, such as media refills, or electronics. Counters serve as a place to store show-goods such as pamphlets, catalogs, business cards, pens, and anything that you might want on-hand and at the ready. Each counter display is produced in lightweight aluminum, with some being scissor or "popup" style, and others being extrusion based. There are also button-snap styles, which is an aluminum tubing that accepts pillowcase graphics. SEG or "silicone edged graphics" have the added benefit of having individually replaceable sides, front, and back.

Counters are typically chosen over a standard event table for several reasons. They often require the person engaging to stand, and offer the ability to present yourself as a ready and willing representative of your company. If you have more than one person to a counter, it may behoove you to get a second one in order to hold multiple conversations at once.

Things to Consider:

Conversation starters can be an excellent way to get your foot in the door with a perspective client. You can do anything you like that'll attract attention in a positive way. Raffles, a bowl of candy, an interesting game, a touch-screen tablet. The level of engagement is up to you. If the difference between catching your biggest client is only a mint away.

Counters can be strategically placed to garner a high level of engagement. If you're not restricted to a linear booth, you may want to take advantage of places with higher traffic aside from the front of your booth. You can utilize corners to entice traffic your way. You may be able to grab people off the main-pathways using these methods.

Our Big Sky branch of counters can also be internally lit, and accept UV cured SEG fabric graphics. UV fabric is produced with back lighting in mind, diffusing any light that hits the print. UV fabric is hot-spot resistant, meaning it's not going to allow each individual LED bulb to be easily seen through the graphic. We recommend a mix of darker and lighter colors to contrast with the light, as they work quite well together.

Q: How much weight can a countertop hold?

A: Weight limits vary from countertop to countertop. The most common weight limit among most counter displays is up to 50lbs over an extended period of time.

Q: Would my counter pack up small enough to fly with?

A: Typically it depends on the airline you've chosen, however some of our counters can indeed fit on an airplane. The larger counters may have to be checked, however counters like the RPL popup can likely be brought as a carry-on. We recommend calling ahead and giving the airliner your counter's shipping dimensions. Shipping dimensions for each counter display can be found under the specifications tab of each product page.

Q: Can these be used outside?

A: As they're designed to be lightweight and portable, the fabric graphics can act like a sail when faced with wind. These counters aren't paired well with bad weather conditions either, such as rain or snow. Though we don't recommend them being used outdoors, good weather conditions likely wouldn't result in any problems.

Production time for each counter display can vary depending on which is being produced. Popup and tube-based counters can be produced within 2-3 business days after approval of proofs. Extrusion based counters can be produced within 3-5 business days after approval of proofs.
